Black Mountain

Live from the front room - Black Mountain.

We performed this and three other songs at the recent Cooran Acoustic Night.

This is a terrific little local community event. WAY better than TV. There's home made food, kids running around, and the hall fills up with locals. It is one of those beautiful acoustically fabulous school of arts halls. It's my aim in life to perform at all of them.

The splinter remained
wedged in his finger
he had thoughts of God

the people there already
they’d understand

The devil he’d seen
up on old Black Mountain
was a radio tower
electric metal fountain

It spoke to him
on the FM band
like eight iPods
one in every hand
