This day was pretty good - started early, and got into the swing of it quickly. There is some interesting fooling around with technique on the dulcimers, and a new martinez acoustic guitar with f holes has made its first appearance. This is the first time it's been played in this set, and will replace the jazz master so that we aren't reliant on the grid to make music.
Also making its first appearance, the new bass dulcimer.
Track 1 sounds like a mess - it is - I'm tooling with a new technique on the dulcimer and, as you can hear, it doesn't come off. It grew out of the jam in track 3 which sounds kind of cute towards the end, once we have a handle on how to get it working between the two instruments.
